H..and thanks...

my mother has taken a turn for the worse, small stroke and a few fits, one in my arms.. I thought she died. Turns for the worse are expected although one is never really prepared for when it happens... it has affected me more than I thought is would.

Yes, true, the media have impressed on us this twisted picture of "only if you look like this you'll be perfect and will be loved".

But honestly, although I always whinge about being too fat as well, I dare say if we didn't have any media, we women would find something else to be unhappy about. Seems to be in our genes. ;)

The comment about people using, "I Love You" in my experience its been used to manipulate relationships, to move them forward faster so that the person saying it will get what they want out of the so called relationship, and move on. Knowing the person they are saying it to is voulnerable, in most cases.

That's just like living in England! Why pay for ticket (by Ryan Air out of all!!!) to get some international exposure to wrinkly ladies wearing skimpy bikinis? I happens all the time in Wiltshire (I live here :))

recliners don't affect me...I can't even lean back on the upright seats with the rod bolted to the top of my spine...stops my neck going back...think we were allocated seats going...yes, we must have been...we did have sitting next to us in the three seater one of the largest men we've seen for a long time though...was quite alarming to say the least...:) Just don't like flying anymore...prefer Eurostar...you can get to Spain by train pretty easily now...takes longer but you see the countryside and it's very, very comfortable...:) GBHs...XXX

All airlines seem to attempting to make as much money as poss on the 'hidden extras'. I flew BA to Mumbai and that was a very good flight.

:)) well similar on Continental Airlines.. Usually when you pay 70,000 (approx $1500)Rupees or more for a roundtrip from India to us the beverages and alcohol is not changed..

However on Continental they chanrged $5 for every alcoholic bevarage and I guess even Coco Cola!

I was super miffed!

Even NWA or KLM or Air India or Delta or Virgin Atlantic dont charge if you pay that kinda money..

Well Thompson Air Travel certainly isn't much better for space with seating...sardines springs to mind and cramp from not being able to move legs at all...did get food and actually quite enjoyed it but it was the most uncomfortable journey to our destination I've ever had...insisted I had leg room on the way back which meant being jammed in a corner spot where I could slot my legs in a narrow space next to the seat in front...LOL...Holiday travel by air is basically a pain in the butt and anywhere else on your body that can possibly hurt...:) GBHs...XXX

A couple of years ago I used to use Ryanair as I was travelling up and down with my mum being ill etc. And yes, I hated the feeling of being cargo.
If you don't travel every two months, the mainstream airlines are not that much more expensive and you feel cosy.

BIG mistake!

They're the worst airline I know of. It's highly recommendable you only use them is there really is no alternative around. Thankfully, there usually is. ;)
